A new geometry with 4-edge cutter cylindrical mills for increased productivity in milling operations where the cutting edge enters and leaves the machined material creating a natural rhythm that becomes a harmonic damaging rhythm. The harmonic rhythm generates resonance frequencies that completely cross the tool causing one of the greatest forms of wear on the cutting edge known as vibration chipping.
This new geometry offers a considerable reduction in vibrations, guaranteeing more stability and less noise in milling operations.
